Mikayla
Meet Mikayla
Mikayla has been part of our team since 2021 and is one of our Veterinary Assistants. Her experience with animals dates back to 2012.
Her career basically started as a High School practicum and seeing pets get better is something she has always loved about her job. She especially likes to educate owners and help find solutions for their pets.
Personal
Mikayla was born in British Columbia and lived in the Lower Mainland for most of her life. She owns an 11-year-old German Shepherd named Maverick. She also leases a horse named Hershel or Hershey. He is in his mid-teens and is a Quarter Horse.
It is probably not surprising that Mikayla likes to ride horses in her spare time. She also volunteers in positions where she can combine her interest in animals and her love for children. She also likes camping, hiking and hunting/shooting. On rainy and snowy days you may find her playing computer and board games.
Fun fact: Mikayla used to be a dance major in High School!
