Dr. Govind joined our team in April 2024 and really enjoys that in vet care, no two days are the same. As he says it: “Working in vet care has its ups and downs. But one thing that is guaranteed is there won’t be a boring day at work.”
Personal
Dr. Govind grew up in India. His name in Sanskrit means “the one who takes care of cows”. Even though cows are one of the few animals we don’t treat at Henderson Animal Hospital, Dr. Govind feels that he was destined to work in the veterinary field. How cool is that?
He doesn’t own any pets currently, but he and his wife have already picked names for their future cats.
Dr. Govind has a great sense of humour so he may just jokingly tell you that he gets dressed up as a Superhero to fight people who are not vaccinating their pets. Be ready for a laugh or two, but of course also the serious side of Dr. Govind if needed, when you visit him with your pet.
