Meet Sasha
Sasha, or Oleksandr officially, is our Veterinary Assistant who joined our team in 2024. He has worked in animal care since 2009. He enjoys all aspects of vet care, from its challenges to its rewards and the many emotions that come with the profession.
He feels the true reward is in dealing with the challenges around the proper diagnosis and assisting with the necessary treatments. To Sasha, an animal that is finally eating again or pain free is the most beautiful thing. Seeing that the pet’s owners are happy and have peace of mind is very valuable to him as well. To Sasha, that’s worth the hard work and the emotional investment.
Personal
Sasha owns a very amusing yet timid Yorkshire Terrier named Basya who doesn’t like car rides. Basya lives with two cats, Kuma and Chapel. Because of that, Basya sometimes acts more like a cat than a dog.
Sasha is outgoing and open, but loves his independence as well. He loves the outdoors, can be found on the shooting range for some sport shooting or near the water, as he enjoys fishing. Grooming his pets helps him to relax as well,
