Adrienne L. is a Veterinary Assistant and the Office Manager of Henderson Animal Hospital. Adrienne was born and raised in Winnipeg and has been a valued asset to the Henderson Team for the past 14 years. During her time working at the Hospital, Adrienne has developed a deep passion for pet care and animal welfare. Adrienne pursued her VOA education at Robertson College and has been able to apply her knowledge in her daily work.
Adrienne loves her job for several reasons, including learning about pet nutrition, understanding environmental factors that affect pet health and treatment, working with the clients and patients, and helping to eliminate stress at the vet for as many patients as she can. She values honesty, integrity, and giving the patient a voice, ensuring that they receive the best possible care.
In her spare time, Adrienne enjoys hiking with her dog, camping, and spending time outdoors. She is also an avid artist who enjoys drawing. She is a proud owner of one dog named Norman, three cats, Phillip, Larry & Sally, and Betta fish Sushi Ⅴ. Adrienne’s love for animals extends beyond her work, and she always goes the extra mile to ensure the well-being of her pets and those she cares for at the hospital.

Reception Team Leader & Veterinary Office Assistant
Kendra L. was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. She has been working as a vet office assistant at Henderson Animal Hospital for the past three years. Kendra completed her career education and schooling from the VOA program and has continuing education with Royal Canin.
Kendra deeply values honesty, kindness, compassion, and empathy and loves creating a strong bond with the pet owners and their furry companions. She finds great satisfaction in educating clients and being there for them when their pets are sick, watching them heal and recover.
When Kendra is not working, she enjoys spending time with her horse Skeeter, camping, hiking, and quadding. Kendra is a proud pet parent to her cat Everett, her dog Bella, and her horse Skeeter.
Mikayla M.
Veterinary Office Assistant
Mikayla is a dedicated Veterinary Assistant at Henderson Animal Hospital, born and raised in British Columbia. She has been a valuable member of the team for 2 years, bringing with her a wealth of experience in animal care. Mikayla’s journey into the world of veterinary care began in 2012, where she started working in clinics. She went on to obtain her VOA in 2013, and her passion for the field only grew stronger.
Mikayla finds great joy in helping clients understand their pets’ needs and providing them with exceptional care. She particularly enjoys cuddling with the patients and building strong relationships with their owners. Her values of honesty, integrity, loyalty, and kindness are evident in the care she provides and the relationships she builds with both clients and patients.
Mikayla takes great pride in her work, and her dedication is apparent in everything she does. She is a proud owner of a 9-year-old German Shepherd named Maverick, whom she loves dearly. When she is not at work, you can find Mikayla out hiking and taking photographs, or challenging herself with puzzles. Her passion for life is infectious, and her commitment to animal welfare is unwavering.

Brianna C is a compassionate Veterinary Assistant at Henderson Animal Hospital, who was born and raised in the heart of Winnipeg. She graduated from a VOA program in 2020 and has been an integral part of the team at the hospital for a year.
Brianna has a natural affinity for animals, which led her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She loves the people she works with at Henderson Animal Hospital and finds it incredibly rewarding to be able to help clients and their furry companions each day. Brianna is a proud owner of four cats named Mai, Po, Lexi, and Rupert, all of whom she loves dearly. Kelly K. is a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) here at Henderson Animal Hospital. Kelly has been a part of the team for about 7 months. Born in Winnipeg, She pursued her career education in the Veterinary Technology program and obtained Fear Free training, which is a testament to her commitment to providing the best care for animals.
Kelly’s values of compassion, honesty, and respect are at the core of everything she does, and she is passionate about working with animals. She finds joy in caring for them and says that it’s the best feeling to be able to work with them every day.
In her free time, Kelly enjoys crafting and spending quality time with her friends and family. She has two furry friends at home – a cat named Jack and a guinea pig named Will, who add more love and happiness to her life.

Heather M is a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technologist and the head of the department at Henderson Animal Hospital. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Heather has always been passionate about animal care and welfare. She graduated from Red River College and became a Registered Veterinary Technologist, specializing in animal health and care.
Heather has worked for Henderson Animal Hospital for two months, and her expertise in the field has made her an invaluable addition to the team. She is also fear-free certified, which means she is trained to minimize stress and anxiety in her animal patients during their visit to the hospital.
In addition to her love of animals, Heather enjoys interacting with clients in a positive and helpful manner. She values good work ethic, honesty, and a good sense of humor, which helps her build strong relationships with her clients and colleagues alike.
Heather is the proud owner of a dog named Ripley, whom she adores. In her free time, she enjoys watching baseball and hockey, as well as curling up with a good book. Yevhen is a skilled and experienced Veterinary Assistant at Henderson Animal Hospital, who recently joined the team 2 months ago. Originally from the Ukraine, Yevhen spent 15 years working as a Veterinarian in his home country before starting a new chapter in Winnipeg.
Yevhen is a true animal lover and is passionate about caring for them. He feels grateful for the opportunity to spend his days surrounded by animals at the hospital, and enjoys being part of a team that is dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of their animal patients.

Zarah was born and raised in Winnipeg and has been working at Henderson Animal Hospital for the past 4 months as a Veterinary Office Assistant. Zarah completed a VOA course at Robertson College and is eager for the opportunity to be around all of these diverse animals and enjoys learning more and more about the Veterinary field each day.
Zarah absolutely loves getting to know the clients and their furry friends. She values honesty and loyalty, and prides herself on being kind in everything she does. When she’s off the clock, you’ll find her buried in books, binge-watching movies, and having a blast playing video games. But she’s not just a homebody – Zarah also gets her kicks from playing hockey and shredding on a wakeboard at her cabin in Whiteshell.
