Pet Wellness Exams

During a comprehensive pet wellness exam, we’ll review your pet’s medical history and diet, perform a physical examination, assess your pet’s dental health and vision health, discuss your questions and concerns, order additional testing as necessary (such as blood work), and make recommendations based on our findings. If your pet is due for any preventive medications, we can also provide these during your visit.

Vaccinations

Pet vaccinations are critical for preventing common and often fatal diseases that can affect animals, such as rabies and parvovirus in dogs and panleukopenia in cats.
Since some vaccine-preventable diseases can spread from animals to humans, keeping your pet up-to-date with vaccines also helps keep your family and community safer, too!

Heartworm, Flea & Tick Prevention

Parasites like heartworm, fleas, and ticks spread disease and can make animals extremely sick. Untreated parasitic infections can be deadly—and even after proper treatment, an animal may suffer life-long health problems.
Let’s keep your pet safer from parasites through routine testing and preventive medication, such as monthly pills or topical treatments.

Microchipping

Microchips are small painless devices implanted just beneath a pet’s skin. They contain digitally-stored information, such as the pet owner’s phone number. This information can be accessed by waving a wand-like device over a pet’s body, which will detect a microchip if one is present and send an alert to the microchip database registry.
Research shows that microchipped pets are significantly more likely to be reunited with their human families after they go missing compared to animals that aren’t microchipped.

Allergies

Pets can be allergic to a variety of substances, such as pollen, certain foods, and even laundry detergent. We can identify your pet’s allergy triggers and provide treatment and interventions that will soothe their allergy symptoms.
